Immersive Soundinstallation of All:y:Ears serie 2022, 15. –24. July
One breath in a relaxed state lasts 5 seconds. The singers of the up to 42-voice choir in ||:Forest of Breath:|| breathe ten times as fast.
In doing so, they provoke a state of trance, as well as alertness and "trouble", that state which awakens the senses and makes them ready for transformation (Donna Haraway).
The voices in ||:Forest of Breath:|| form a community that invites the audience to participate.
It can synchronize with the breathing and thus become part of the organism or follow the choral or individual voices just as observantly.
A production of ECHO FACTORY with the kind support of Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival and The Norwegian Soloists' Choir.
