With DRIVE In, the Center for Immersive Media Art, Music and Technology (ZiMMT) in Leipzig presents its first concert and sound installation series and heralds 3D audio as the focus of the center.
On each of five concert evenings and exhibitions, spread over the year 2021, extraordinary performances and sound installations by 16 local and international artists will be presented. What all works have in common is the intensive artistic examination of spatially composed sounds.
Through their works and their content, the artists create intense sound experiences that invite visitors to immerse themselves in virtual acoustic spheres.
