Patrick Franke is an award-winning sound and recording artist specializing in wildlife and environmental sounds. Scientific expertise is an integral part of his work as a recording artist. His library includes over 16,000 recordings. Between 2004 and 2008 he ran the sound art platform and record label 'Alula Ton Serien' and was part of the modular collaboration collective Franke Neumann Schmidt Weinheimer.
crys cole is a Canadian sound artist currently based in Berlin Germany who works in composition, performance and sound installation. Taking a conceptual approach that emphasizes focussed listening, she generates subtle sound pieces through haptic gestures and seemingly mundane sources to create texturally nuanced works that continuously retune the ear.
Cole has been performing and exhibiting her work worldwide for over two-decades. Alongside her solo work she has ongoing collaborations with Oren Ambarchi and with James Rushford under the name 'Ora Clementi'. She has collaborated with a wide range of artists over the years including Francis Plagne, Tetuzi Akiyama, Leif Elggren, David Behrman, Annea Lockwood, Graham Lambkin, Keith Rowe, Jessika Kenney, David Rosenboom, Lance Austin Olsen and many more
