On March 18, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, the scholarship holders of the first cohort of the Leipzig Scholarship Program will introduce themselves and share insights into their work from the past few months.
A total of 25 projects in the fields of visual arts, performing arts, music, literature, and social transformation were selected by a jury from 560 applications.
The event will begin with a welcome address by Leipzig’s Deputy Mayor for Culture, Dr. Skadi Jennicke, and will be moderated by Katja Großer and Sebastian Göschel. The event will take place at ZiMMT – Center for Immersive Media Art, Music and Technology, and is organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Leipzig.
