ZiMMT Listening Sessions
ZiMMT is launching a new, regular format: the ZiMMT Listening Sessions.
These sessions focus on a shared, intensive listening experience on ZiMMT’s high-quality audio systems. The room is deliberately designed as a place for listening, away from background noise or club contexts. At the same time, there is room for exchange and encounters.
The ZiMMT Listening Sessions invite you to focus on music: attentively, slowly, and communally. The series varies between three different modes: Re:Listen, Sound:Bar, and Ear:Spa.
Re:Listen
Re:Listen brings concerts from the ZiMMT archive to life in a new format. All concerts at ZiMMT are recorded in 3D audio format, allowing us to relive our shared highlights exactly as they sounded at the live event.
Did you miss your favorite artist’s concert three years ago? Or maybe you didn’t have the best seat and would like to experience a special performance again from a new perspective? Re:Listen offers you the opportunity to listen to concerts at ZiMMT in high sound quality and spatial depth.
Re:Listen sees itself as an archive in motion. Concerts thus remain not only a memory, but are made accessible again as a spatial listening experience.
Sound:Bar
Sound:Bar is an open listening format with a bar-like character, special drinks, and a relaxed, communicative atmosphere with separate bar and listening areas. The focus is on shared, concentrated listening. Between 7 and 10 p.m., carefully selected albums are played on vinyl in high sound quality via the ZiMMT audio systems.
Sound:Bar is a meeting place for music enthusiasts, sound lovers, and the curious. It invites you to stay, listen, and exchange ideas before and after listening together.
Ear:Spa
Ear:Spa is a deep listening session with natural soundscapes and immersive sound spaces. The format invites you to calm down, listen intently, and leave everyday life behind for a moment.
A consciously designed, atmospheric environment creates a space for relaxation and perception. The sounds unfold slowly and without distraction via the ZiMMT’s 3D audio system, enabling an intense, physical listening experience. Movement, lying down, or sitting relaxed are all part of the concept—the focus is on the individual experience of sound and space.
Ear:Spa sees itself as an invitation to pause, listen consciously, and enjoy a slower pace of life.
