The Schlager family has never been to New York and hasn’t brought a bit of peace to the world yet. Still, the Schlagers have been active in the music industry for three generations, delivering hit after hit to their audience. But after a tragic event, the facade of this happy and successful family begins to crumble significantly.

In their new production, Ensemble 23 explores the depths, secrets, and highlights of a family whose success has pushed them into the public eye. For the new play Schlagersahne, the actors of Ensemble 23 wrote their own songs and are eager, after 3½ years away from the stage, to rock the stage again and release their own music album.
