BLUE ZONE
an Interactive AI & Human experiment / 13.+ 14.11.
BLUE ZONE is a performance-and-installation program centred on clear, real-time interaction between bodies and machines. Two dancers engage a sensing system that tracks movement and maps it to sound, forming a transparent feedback loop—motion triggers audio; audio shapes the next move. The rules are explicit and safety-driven (thresholds, limits, timeouts), keeping cause and effect legible from every seat. After the performance, the setup extends into three connected installations—audio, visual, and kinetic. Each station runs on its own yet stays linked: sound informs image, image prompts motion, motion restructures sound. Visitors can move between stations, observe the system’s responses, and trace decisions across the network.
The program concludes with a public talk and an optional hands-on workshop led by Omar Tara and Akad on generative and interactive art: motion tracking, movement-to-sound mapping, feedback management, and practical integration across common tools. Designed for audiences interested in digital performance, choreography, media art and applied AI.
