Licht
Interactive concert performance for soprano, piano, electronic music, lighting, and tracked audience / August 12–14, 2021 (World Premiere)
LICHT invites the audience to a performance that balances musical intensity and digital transgression:
Visitors are individually tracked and can move freely through the space with the performers, exploring their own light fields. In this way, they become active participants in a setting where they seemingly take control of the direction through the interplay of light and sound. Or does it only seem that way? Increasingly, they find themselves caught between the tension of self-determined playful experiences of personal spaces and a growing feeling of vulnerability to digitalization.
