Die SANE 3D Concert Night verwandelt Distanz in Resonanz: Sechs SANE-Residenzkünstler:innen — Bianca Loffreda, Ferdinand Kavall, Mariam Gviniashvili, Olivier Terpstra, Pierce Warnecke und Shasha Chen — performen live in HELLERAU – Europäisches Zentrum der Künste, während ihre Werke über einen mehrkanaligen 3D-Audio-Stream nach Leipzig übertragen werden. Im ZiMMT entfaltet sich die Musik über unser immersives Lautsprechersystem und umhüllt das Publikum mit einem voll dreidimensionalen Klangerlebnis.

Dieses translokale Ereignis wird ermöglicht durch die Entwicklung einer mehrkanaligen Streaming-Plattform und -Pipeline, realisiert in Kooperation mit der Hochschule Anhalt und Alexander Carôt im Rahmen des SANE Research and Development Projects.

Das Spatial Audio Network Europe (SANE) wurde vom ZiMMT initiiert, in Zusammenarbeit mit Music Innovation Hub (Mailand, Italien), Echo Factory (Dresden/Köln, Deutschland), Hochschule Anhalt (Köthen, Deutschland), Institut für Elektronische Musik und Akustik (Graz, Österreich), Effenaar (Eindhoven, Niederlande), 4DSOUND (Amsterdam, Niederlande), INTORNO Labs (Barcelona, Spanien) und Not a Number (Leipzig, Deutschland) – mit dem Ziel, Innovation im Bereich räumlicher Klang Technologien und künstlerischer Prozesse zu fördern und neue künstlerische Praktiken zu unterstützen.

Join us for a special live streamed concert experience at ZiMMT!

The SANE 3D Concert Night transforms distance into resonance: six SANE residency artists — Bianca Loffreda, Ferdinand Kavall, Mariam Gviniashvili, Olivier Terpstra, Pierce Warnecke, and Shasha Chen — perform live at HELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts, while their works travel through a multichannel 3D audio stream to Leipzig. At ZiMMT, the music unfolds across our immersive sound system, surrounding the audience with the full 3-dimensional sound experience.

This translocal encounter is made possible by the establishment of a multichannel streaming platform and pipeline, developed in cooperation with Hochschule Anhalt and Alexander Carôt as part of the SANE Research and Development project.

The Spatial Audio Network Europe (SANE) was initiated by ZiMMT in collaboration with Music Innovation Hub (Milan, Italy), Echo Factory (Dresden/Cologne, Germany), University of applied science Anhalt (Köthen, Germany), Institut for Electronic Music and Acoustics (Graz, Austria), Effenaar (Eindhoven, Netherlands), 4DSOUND (Amsterdam, Netherlands), INTORNO Labs (Barcelona, Spain), and Not a Number (Leipzig, Germany) – fostering innovation in spatial audio and supporting emerging artistic practices.
