AV-Labor
Diesmal: Einführung in Fieldrecordings und DYI Sampling Techniken mit Helena Pauen & Paul Hauptmeier (Sprache: DE / EN beide möglich)
In diesem AV-Labor geben Helena und Paul eine Einführung in Fieldrecordings und DYI Sampling Techniken. Im ersten Teil wird gemeinsam in einem Live Soundwalk, mit Mikrofonen und Funkkopfhörern ausgestattet die akustische Umgebung des ZiMMT erkundet.
Im zweiten Teil geht es mit den gesammelten Aufnahmen ins Studio, wobei Helena mit euch aus den Aufnahmen in Ableton Beats baut und Paul euch zeigt wie man die Aufnahmen auf dem 3D Soundsystem im ZiMMT zu einer immersiven Klanglandschaft collagieren kann.
Keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Wer möchte kann gerne einen Laptop und Kopfhörer und oder einen Aufnahmegerät wie ein Zoomrecorder oder ähnliches mitbringen. Ihr könnt aber auch ohne alles problemlos teilnehmen.

In this AV-Labor, Helena and Paul will provide an introduction to field recordings and DIY sampling techniques. In the first part, participants will explore the acoustic environment of ZiMMT together on a live soundwalk, equipped with microphones and wireless headphones.
In the second part, we’ll head to the studio with the recordings we’ve collected, where Helena will work with you to build beats in Ableton using the recordings, and Paul will show you how to collage the recordings into an immersive soundscape on ZiMMT’s 3D sound system.
No prior experience is necessary. If you’d like, feel free to bring a laptop and headphones and/or a recording device such as a Zoom recorder or similar. However, you can also participate without any of these items.
