For the SANG cooperation project, three institutions for immersive arts have jointly committed themselves to the goal of supporting artists stepping into working with spatial audio and working on technical standards for the realisation of 3D audio concerts: ZiMMT, the interdisciplinary lab spaes in Berlin and the immersive sound agency MediaApes in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. SANG’s experts provide individual mentoring to support artists as required – whether it’s recordings, spatial live realisation or the development of their own tools. With two think tank events, the network promotes knowledge transfer on the topic of 3D audio and mutual support in research and development all throughout Germany.
